This food chain, which started out in the Philippines in the mid 80's, have already established several branches/franchises in the Davao area, making it one of the more accessible and well-known food chains in the city.

                        

Chowking not only provides customers a cozy place to dine to, they also have a wide selection of meals for the budget-conscious patrons which include the latest Chinese Style Fried chicken. Their best value meal however would still be the good 'ol lauriats, which are available in Tender Beef Broccoli, Breaded Fish, Lumpiang Shanghai, Orange Chicken, Sweet and Sour Pork, Breaded Pork, or the Chinese Style Fried Chicken.

And if the main course it not enough, you can always go with their desserts headlined by their special Halo-halo, which you can order with either one or two scoops of Cheese or Ube Ice Cream on top.
